College is a key moment where people can find their faith and explore their faith, and we want to be apart of it. Pillar seeks to be a place where college students can feel welcomed no matter what stage of faith or life they are in. At both the beginning of the fall and spring semesters, Pillar hosts large group Bible studies. These are on Wednesday nights from 9:00-10:00pm on 8/30, 9/6, 9/13. Tim Brown, James Ellis, Kristen Johnson are some of the speakers this year. Following the first three gatherings, we break the large group into smaller groups as a way to build closer relationships and dig deeper into faith. To get involved, please email Joel, our College Ministries Intern at email@example.com.
Pillar loves gathering around the table with good food and great conversation. Once a month, Pillar will host college luncheons after the 10:30 am Sunday worship service. This year the dates are 9/17, 10/15, 11/19 Invite your roommate, friends, and people whom you might not know! To get involved by providing meals or simply helping out, please email Joel at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We love the City of Holland and want our college students to love it too! Monthly, Pillar hosts city socials at a local restaurant or coffee shop, such as Lemonjello's, where college students are invited to come get free food and a cup of conversation. These events provide a space to relax, while fostering new and old relationships. This years dates for are 9/28, 10/26, 11/16. To get involved please email Joel at email@example.com.
