Throughout the Gospel, John plays with time, or at least he’s playing with the word “time.” Sometimes he means the tick of the clock, the seconds that become minutes that turn into hours. Other times he means the decisive moment in time when Christ accomplishes salvation through his death and resurrection. And still at other moments he means a different kind of time, like when he says “My time has not yet come but your time is always here.” What does it mean for your time to come?
Join us at the Men’s Spring Retreat (March 27–29) as we wonder together about “your time.”
The retreat will be hosted at The Retreat Center at Geneva at the Shores (3995 Lakeshore Dr.) and guided by Pastors Jon and Chris.
Check in for the weekend will begin at 3pm on Friday, March 27. We will enjoy dinner together and an introductory session to kick-off the weekend. Saturday will offer Biblical teaching, time for reflection, optional activities, and meals in between. We will conclude the weekend early on Sunday with breakfast before joining the rest of the Pillar community at church.
We are offering three options. While we are encouraging men to stay overnight in order to experience community building, there is also a day-pass option. Scholarships are available.
- Full weekend, overnight, food/activities included, double-occupancy (choose your roommate or we can pair you with somebody): $200
- Full weekend, overnight, food/activities included, single-occupancy: $300
- Retreat Pass/No overnight stay, includes food and activities: $75
When you register, which you can do HERE you will also be prompted to select from the three optional activities (X-Golf, March Madness watch party, or a hike) for Saturday so that we can plan accordingly.
Please register by March 11.
