Art on Display- Blake Johnson

We are featuring a newly commissioned piece of art by Blake Johnson for the season of Lent. It is a vivid expression of footwashing, coming from our theme passage from John 13. In the Gathering Space there is also a water feature art display. You are invited to engage with these pieces of art during Lent as we consider Jesus’ posture and ministry as “His hour” arrived.

If you enter the gathering space at Pillar on 9th, you will also notice two water features on either side of the room, which were made by Beej Van Groningen, Pillar’s Building and Grounds Steward.
