Global Lent Missional Offering and Project: 

Pillar Church’s Lent missional focus this year includes supporting the Caribbean Christian Centre for the Deaf in Jamaica. The Caribbean Christian Centre for the Deaf exists to reach, teach and nurture the Deaf of Jamaica and has faithfully served children, youth and families for many years. This past October their Montego Bay campus was devastated by Hurricane Melissa. Walls crumbled and roofs were completely torn apart by winds reaching two hundred miles per hour leaving significant damage to their facilities.

In addition to providing financial support Pillar will also be sending a team of skilled workers from March 21st – March 26th to assist with rebuilding efforts on site. There are still a few open spots available. Our goal is to raise 50,000 dollars to help restore what was lost and invest in the future of this ministry. Every gift no matter the size becomes part of a larger story of hope restoration and discipleship for the Deaf community in Jamaica. Your generosity during this Lent season can create lasting impact for generations to come and serve as a tangible expression of Christ’s love in action.
