WEEK SIX: July 30, New Creation

Speaker: Dr. Suzzane McDonald, Professor of Systematic and Historical Theology, Western Theological Seminary

Testimony: Rosemary Schipper

How does the story end—and what does that mean for how we live now?

In Act Five of N.T. Wright’s 5-Act Drama, we glimpse the future God has promised: not escape from the world, but the renewal of all things. The final act points to resurrection, restoration, and the arrival of God’s kingdom in fullness—heaven and earth made new, justice established, and creation healed.

But this act is still unfolding. The Church lives in the tension of the “already” and the “not yet,” called to improvise faithfully as we anticipate the final scenes. We are not passive spectators—we’re active participants in the story God is bringing to completion.

For our final talk in the series, on Wednesday, July 30, Dr. Suzzane McDonald, Professor of Systematic and Historical Theology at Western Theological Seminary will guide us through God’s promise. Come be inspired by the ending that gives meaning to everything—and invites us to live with hope, purpose, and imagination in every sector of public life.
